Betty Sullivan is the matriarch of Architectural Ceramics. Betty has been a key leader for Architectural Ceramics since 2001. Under Betty’s leadership ACI has increased revenues sevenfold! In the mid 1990’s, Betty was the president of an Intellectual Property Licensing firm where she partnered with major corporations to provide patent licensing, mastered negotiating skills, and managed high powered patent attorneys. Prior to her work with patent licensing she had retail experience with United Colors of Benneton and L&L Bakeries opening stores and streamlining production.

David has worked with ACI for over 15 years and oversees the Sales Division. At the age of 15 he started making deliveries for the family business. He worked with the business part-time in various facets throughout his teenage years and college. After receiving a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University, David jumped right into full time sales with the company. Over the past 5 years David has personally sold over $5,000,000 in sales while managing the residential sales division of ACI.

David holds a CCTS (Certified Ceramic Tile Salesperson), has served on the National Kitchen and Bath Association Board and is currently an active member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization, NARI, NKBA, NVBIA, NAHB and ASID.

Lauri Gibson

Lauri Gibson joined ACI in 2009, and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Lauri is responsible for overseeing strategy, operational efficiency, corporate development, strategic customer relations, and finance. Lauri has more than 10 years experience in finance and operations, and previously served as Controller for ACI.

Prior to ACI, Lauri was an Assistant Controller and appointed Corporate Officer at Lennar Homes, with a focus on land purchases and sales, joint venture agreements, and cash forecasting. Lauri's career started as an Accounting Manager in the home building industry for Pulte Homes. While with Pulte, Lauri also served integral roles in their Regional Financial Conference as well as their Mentoring & Leadership Program.

Lauri possesses a hands-on-leadership style and her work experience has taught her that streamlining processes through automation and building a great culture for her teammates are the keys to a successful company. Lauri holds degrees in a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Strayer University and her BS from Auburn University with a concentration in Finance.

Christina Ginn manages Architectural Ceramics marketing, product, and information technology group. Prior to working at ACI, Christina worked for Lockheed Martin as a lead engineer on million dollar programs managing budgets, staff, and assets. She has had years of leadership training and process improvement training (Six Sigma Black Belt Certification).

Christina has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering from Cornell University. Christina’s first job was working at Architectural Ceramics at 12 years old doing mailings for her parents (Betty & Larry Sullivan), so she knows the ins / outs of ACI.

Paul Hyde  Director of Contract Sales Group

Paul Hyde joined the Architectural Ceramics team in 2012, and currently holds the position of Director of Contract Sales. Paul is responsible for the development and expansion of the Commercial sales division and sales support team. He brings 7 years of architectural sales and business development experience in the tile industry to ACI.

Prior to joining Architectural Ceramics, Paul held various sales, marketing and business development positions over the course of 15 years. Most recently, Paul played a strategic role in solidly positioning Emil Ceramica SPA, an Italian porcelain manufacturer, as a leading brand in the mid-Atlantic territory. He focused for seven years on building strong relationships with Distributors, Retailers, Architects and Designers. Paul came to the tile industry with a background in food and beverage sales. In his two years with Herr’s snack foods, Paul successfully executed a plan to bring the Herr’s product to every major retailer within his territory. Paul also dedicated seven years of sales leadership and business development expertise with Central Coca Cola as a key account manager working with several national accounts.

From years of sales experience, Paul has found that building strong relationships with customers and employees is the key to long term success.
